Hello, I am Chief Constable McIntyre with the V.T.P. You might be here to wonder what we do before you sign up. Firstly, the VTP Is a specialised police force that deals with many different situations that you wouldn't get with another department. We have five divisions that have an area that they are responsible for. All divisions are lead by a Superintendent (Supt. for short) They have responsibility over everyone in their division. The five units are as follows along with their Superintendent. General Patrol Unit (GPU) Leader @Unknown Officers within the General Patrol Unit (GPU) handle all calls in the first instance. Members of this division have a wide scope of operation from R.B.T’s to Ticket Checking at stations to directing traffic at incidents. The GPU is split into two sub units, Uniform Branch and CID Branch. Uniformed officers, perform the duties mentioned above, CID Officers are the forces detectives and perform many of the various investigations the agency is tasked with. Both Uniform and CID are overseen by an inspector for each branch and then a superintendent overseeing the two inspectors. If you join us to serve within our ranks your first few days shall be in this unit as all probationary Constables are in the GPU. Roads Policing Unit (RPU) Leader @Unknown Roads Policing Unit officers are highly trained advanced (pursuit) drivers and motorcyclists. All receive additional training in accident investigation with many being trained to advanced levels in traffic management and hazardous materials enforcement. They have responsibility for the enforcement of road safety legislation, response to major incidents and incidents on motorways and the strategic road network, the complete investigation of collisions. They are also trained to deal with people who use the roads with alcohol or drugs in their system or those who recklessly speed or drive.

Marine Enforcement Unit (MEU) Leader N/A Marine Enforcement Unit (MEU) officers are highly trained advanced marine vessel drivers and swimmers. All receive additional training in vessel control and many are trained to an advanced standard in emergency medicine and combat. They have responsibility for the enforcement of marine legislation, response to major incidents and incidents on the water. Immigration Security Unit (ISU) Leader @Unknown ISU have wide-ranging powers of entry, search, seizure and arrest.. Amongst their powers is the ability to arrest anyone who has committed, for whom the officer has reasonable grounds to suspect has committed, any offence under the Immigration or Department of Transport Acts. They may also seize prohibited and restricted goods, such as controlled drugs and firearms, as well as ensuring that imported goods bear the correct taxes and duties. They'd also check visas and passports.

Diplomatic Protection Unit (DPU) Leader @Unknown The Diplomatic Protection Unit (DPU) are a unit dedicated to the protection of foreign officials. They have a vast array of supplies to use during this. They protect embassies and cabinet level foreign officials.
